Hi! I’m Natalie and for 20 years I have been shaping hair and shaping self images with perfection and pride! Currently I work as a freelance hairstylist and I enjoy very close personal relationships with my customers that lift me up and make my work feel like privilege not a job. I specialize in custom haircuts and hair colors and I have worked in high end salons for most of my career.
I started Dear Hairdresser originally to share my quirky musings and anecdotal wisdom hoping it would help people gain confidence when they went to see their stylist, but it turned into articles about everything! Mostly my goal is to make you laugh, build your confidence, and remind you that the majority of us humans are just doing our best here trying to be good people and not frighten ourselves when we look in the mirror.
